Terms of Service

Protein Market Terminal ("the Service") is a market data platform that aggregates, displays, and analyzes publicly available USDA agricultural market data for the meat and protein industry. The Service includes real-time report data, AI-generated market summaries, price projections, visualizations, and natural language query tools.

Access to certain features requires creating an account via email-based magic link authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide a valid email address and accurate information.

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Free accounts have access to a limited set of features. Paid subscriptions unlock additional data, projections, and AI features. Pricing, features, and billing terms are displayed at the time of purchase. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store credit card or payment information on our servers.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service
• Redistribute, resell, or republish data obtained from the Service
• Use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal browser usage
• Attempt to circumvent access controls or subscription restrictions
• Use the Service to provide competing data services
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Service

Market data displayed on the Service is sourced from the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) and other public sources. While we strive to present accurate and timely data, we make no warranties regarding completeness, accuracy, or timeliness.

AI-generated summaries, projections, and analysis are statistical estimates produced by automated models. They are not investment advice, trading recommendations, or guarantees of future performance. See our Market Data Disclaimer for full details.

The underlying USDA market data is public domain. However, our AI-generated summaries, price projections, visualizations, analysis tools, and the overall presentation and design of the Service are the intellectual property of Protein Market Terminal. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute these without written permission.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Protein Market Terminal shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses from trading or investment decisions made based on data or analysis provided by the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Province of New Brunswick.
